Belavia has changed its rates for carrying extra baggage.

Belarusian airline Belavia has introduced new rates for the transportation of additional checked baggage effective June 1, according to the carrier’s press service.

The service is intended for passengers who need to carry more baggage than is included in their purchased fare package. An additional baggage allowance can be purchased when booking a ticket on the airline’s official website, through the “Booking Status” section after purchase, as well as at sales offices and through authorized agents. When booking online, the request must be submitted no later than two hours before departure.

The cost of the service depends on the route, the method of purchase, and the time of booking.

Currently, Belavia operates regular flights to Turkmenistan twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, along the Minsk–Turkmenbashi–Minsk route.
